Police settles down the case of untouchability via agrement

Police have settled the case of untouchability via agreement with the presence of a public representatives. The ones who helped the Dalit flood victims were accused of religious malpractices. Instead of taking legal action against the ones accusing them, the police settled down the incident stating its a common one. After knowing that Sanu Maya Gurung and her family members help the Dalit victims, Devi Prasad Sigdel, a 70-year-old priest accused them of deteriorating the Hindu religion. After the incident, the Dalit communities filed a case in the police station. However, police termed it as an ordinary incident and settled the issue in the presence of ward chief Yubraj Paudel. They acquired an apology statement from the priest as well.
