Kathmandu/ June 19 Kusum Dhungana, 24, of Sankata in Kathmandu Metropolis-23 and currently living in Sitapaila VDC has been severely beaten by her husband Arjun Dhungana, 25, on the night of June 17. The victim sustained a serious injury to her eyes and bruises to her body. She has lodged a complaint against her husband at Women and Children Service Centre, Kalimati. She claimed that her husband had been constantly torturing her physically and mentally over petty issues since 6 months. The couple was married in 2004. The perpetrator will be brought to justice, said Inspector Sushila Pradhan, chief of Women and Children Service Centre. Bibek Dhungana काठमाडौँ । ०७० असार ५ गते काठमाडौँ मनपा-२३ सङ्कटा घर भइ हाल सीतापाइला गाविसमा बस्ने २४ वर्षीया कुसुम ढुङ्गानलाई पति २५ वर्षीय अर्जुन ढुङ्गानाले असार ३ गते राति निर्घात कुटपिट गरेका छन् । कुटपिटबाट कुसुमको आँखामा गहिरो चोट लागेको छ । उनको अनुहारमा नीलडाम र आँखा सुनिएको छ । पीडितले घटनाको बारेमा असार ४ गते महानगरीय प्रहरी परिसर काठमाडौँ महिला तथा बालबालिका सेवा केन्द्र कालिमाटीमा जाहेरी दिएकी छिन् । पतिले विगत ६ महिनादेखि साना-साना कुरालाई लिएर रिसाउने र आवेशमा आएर निर्घात कुटपिट तथा शारिरीक यातना दिने गरेको पीडित कुसुमले बताइन् । उनीहरूको ०६१ सालमा प्रेम विवाह भएको थियो । घटनामा सङ्लग्नलाई गिरफ्तार गरी कानुनी दायरामा ल्याइने सेवा केन्द्रकी इन्सपेक्टर सुशीला प्रधानले बताइन् । विवेक ढुङ्गाना
