Club president Mahendra Thegim of Tandi Youth Club got injured in the Khukuri attack by the group of 12 to 15 people on Monday (Oct 23). Thegim got severe injuries in his head. Thegim family have filed the complained against 15 people along with Milan Shrestha,25, Madan Chemjong,22 and Sandip Chemjong,23 accusing them of their involvement in the attack. Among them, police have arrested Shrestha while other are on run. Injured Thegim has been taken to Araniko hospital for treatment. However reason behind the attack is still unknown, police said मोरङको टाँडी युवा क्लबका अध्यक्ष महेन्द थेगिममाथि सोमबार राति खुकुरी प्रहार भएको छ। १२/१५ जनाको युवा समुहले थेगिममाथि खुकुरी प्रहार गरेको हो। खुकुरी प्रहारबाट थेगिम गम्भीर घाइते भएका छन् । युवाको समूहले थेगिममाथि अन्धाधुन्ध खुकुरी प्रहार गरेका थिए। खुकुरी प्रहार गर्नुको ठोस कारण खुलेको छैन। थेगिमका आफन्तले खुकुरी प्रहारमा संलग्न रहेको अभियोगमा उर्लाबारी-७ का २५ वर्षीय मिलन श्रेष्ठ, मिक्लोजुङ-४ का २२ वर्षीय मदन चेम्जोङ,२३ वर्षीय सन्दिप चेम्जोङसहित १५ जनाविरुद्ध इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय उर्लाबारीमा मंगलबार जाहेरी दिएका छन्। तीमध्ये श्रेष्ठलाई प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको छ भने अन्य फरार छन् । घाइते थेगिमको टाउकोमा चोट लागेको छ। उनको उर्लाबारी-५ स्कूलडाँडास्थित अरनिको अस्पतालमा उपचार भइरहेको आफन्तले बताएका छन् ।
