Wife and son of Mantu Sah who is a resident of Sidhhartha Chowk, Biratnagar has been kept in confinement by the in-laws of Mantu Sah. Organizing a press meet Montu Sah state that his in-laws have kept his wife and daughter in confinement since October 4 and have not let him meet his daughter and wife. His brother-in-law and father-in-law didn't let him meet his wife and his daughter, he added. His in-laws had taken Rs 6 lakhs from Mantu Sah and when he asked them to return his money they confined his wife and daughter, he added in his statement. He also said that they had an agreement of returning his wife and money in front of the office on 17th October but still he has not sent her to me. Whereas, his in-laws have denied the blame and said that he has not confined his daughter but she wants to stay here with us because she had some problems going on with her husband, therefore, we didn't send her to her husband. विराटनगरको सिद्धार्थ चोकका मन्टु साहले आर्थिक लेनदेन विवादमा ससुराली पक्षले श्रीमती र नाबालक छोरालाई बन्धक बनाएर राखेको बताएका छन् । विराटनगरमा आइतबार पत्रकार सम्मेलन गरी साहले असोज १८ गतेदेखि ससुराली पक्षले श्रीमती बबिता मण्डल र छोरा ७ वर्षीय आयुषलाई बन्धक बनाएर राखेको आरोप लगाएका हुन् । आफूलाई उनीहरूसँग भेट गर्न नदिएको उनले सुनाए । उनले ससुरा उदेश्वर मण्डल र सालो राजु मण्डलको योजनामा श्रीमती र छोरालाई आफूबाट छुटाएर लगेको आरोप लगाए । व्यापार गर्ने भनेपछि दुईपटक गरेर राजुलाई ६ लाख रुपैयाँ दिएको उल्लेख गर्दै उने त्यही रकम फिर्ता माग्दा श्रीमती र छोराबाटै अलग बनाएको गुनासो गरे । ‘व्यापार गर्ने भनेपछि मैले ससुरालीलाई सहयोग गरें', उनले भने, ‘त्यसको परिणाम अहिले मबाट श्रीमती र छोरालाई नै अलग बनाएर राखे ।' पैसा फिर्ता दिनुको साटो धम्की दिन गरेको उनको गुनासो छ । उनका अनुसार असोज ३१ गते जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय मोरङमा यस विषयमा मिलापत्रसमेत भएको थियो । पैसासहित श्रीमती र छोरालाई फिर्ता गर्ने सहमति भए पनि ससुराली पक्षले बन्धक बनाएर राखेको उनको आरोप छ । उदेश्वरले भने छोरी माइतमा बसेको जानकारी दिँदै बन्धक बनाएर नराखेको प्रतिक्रिया दिए । ‘छोरी र ज्वाइँबीच कुरा मिलेनछ', उनले भने, ‘त्यही भएर छोरा लिएर छोरी माइतमै आएर बसेकी छ ।' उनले ज्वाइसँग लिएको ऋणको कुराभन्दा पनि छोरीलाई घरमा बस्न मन नलागेर माइत आएर बसेका कारण यस घटनालाई लिएर बन्धक बनायो भन्न उचित नहुने दाबी गरे ।
