With the first phase of federal and provincial elections nearing, Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) are being recovered from various places in Sindhupalchok Constituency-2. According to the police, a pressure cooker bomb was found at Melamchitar-based Indrawati Campus premises in Jyamire Milanchok and another was recovered from near a bridge that connects Shikharpur Tipeni at Melamchi bazaar. Local students had notified security agencies after they found the IED along with some wires at Milanchok, Melamchi Ward no 9 early Friday morning. A team of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force defused the bomb मेलम्ची नगरपालिका–९ ज्यामिरेस्थित बाटोमा प्रेशर कुकरमा खतरा लेखी राखेको छ भन्ने खवर प्राप्त हुनासाथ ईलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय मेलम्चीबाट प्रहरी टोली खटि गई डिष्जोजका लागि नेपाली सेनाको जगदल गण मेलम्चीसँग समन्वय गरिरहेको छ । घटनाका सम्बन्धमा स्थानीय प्रहरीबाट थप आवश्यक अनुसन्धान भइरहेको छ ।
