A bomb has been exploded targeting the house of member of the chairman council of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJP) Sharat Singh Bhandari in Aurahi of Mahottari early Sunday morning. “An unidentified group exploded the bomb near Bhandari’s house at one in the night,” RJP General Secretary Keshav Jha told Setopati. “The house was not damaged but this has been done with an intention of disrupting the election. The government must be serious about such incidents,” he added. He called such attacks ahead of the elections undemocratic and revealed RJP has drawn the government’s attention to beef up security arrangements. Bhandari is contesting the federal election from Mahottari-2.
