A student was seriously injured after being attacked with a knife in Birgunj on Friday morning. The injured has been identified as Roshan Yadav of Birgunj-16 Radhemai who is a BBS 1st year student of Thakurram multiple campus. Yadav sustained serious injury on his chest due to the attack. He was referred to Gandak hospital from Narayani sub-regional hospital where he could not be treated. The identity of the attackers have not yet been established. Yadav had run into a dispute with some other students on Thursday. Police suspect the same group of students were behind the attack. Police are further investigating on the incident. वीरगञ्जमा एक विद्यार्थीमाथि छुरा प्रहार भएको छ । ठाकुरराम बहुमुखी क्याम्पसमा बीबीएस प्रथम वर्षमा अध्ययनरत रोशन यादवमाथि शुक्रबार बिहान ०७ः३० बजे छुरा प्रहार भएको हो । छुरा प्रहारबाट वीरगञ्ज-१६, राधेमाई घर भएका यादव गम्भीर घाइते भएको जानकारी प्रहरीले दिएको छ । छुरा प्रहारबाट उनको छातीमा गम्भीर चोट लागेको छ । घाइते यादवलाई नारायणी उपक्षेत्रीय अस्पतालमा उपचारका लागि लगिए पनि त्यहाँ उपचार सम्भव नभएपछि अहिले गण्डक अस्पताल लगिएको छ । आक्रमण कसले गर्यो भन्नेबारे अहिलेसम्म केही पनि खुलेको छैन । यादवको बिहीबार क्याम्पसका केही विद्यार्थीसँग विवाद भएकाले त्यही समूहले आक्रमण गरेको हुनसक्ने अनुमान गरिएको छ । यद्यपि, यसको औपचारिक पुष्टि हुन भने बाँकी रहेको छ । प्रहरीले यसबारे छानबिन भइरहेको जनाएको छ ।
