Banke/July 24 Padam Bahadur Shahi, 42, of Pitmari in Naubasta VDC-2 and Jhup Bahadur Bistha, 37, of Tikulipur of Kachanapur VDC-7 have filed a case against police at the District Police Office on July 24 accusing them of torturing them in custody. They filed the case with the support of Advocacy Forum. They said that they were having injuries in facial bone and needed to be operated after beaten by SI Narpati Bhatta, police constable Nar Bahadur Nepali and another constable with last name as Chaudhary posted at District Police Office. They were held by the police after a dispute over bus fare with driver. There has been reports of three cases of police torture in a month. Binod Pandey बाँके । ०७० साउन ९ गते नौबस्ता गाविस- २ पितमारीका ४२ वर्षीय पदमबहादुर शाही र कचनापुर गाविस-७ टिकुलीपुर बस्ने ३७ वर्षीय झुपबहादुर विष्टले प्रहरीले हिरासतमा यातना दिएको भन्दै साउन ९ गते जिल्ला अदालतमा प्रहरी विरूद्ध यातना क्षतिपूर्तिसम्बन्धी मुद्दा दायर गरेका छन् । पीडितहरूले एड्भोकेसी फोरमको कानूनी सहयोगमा मुद्दा दायर गरेका हुन् । बस भाडाको विषयलाई लिएर भएको विवादमा प्रहरीले कोहलपुर बजारबाट गिरफ्तार गरी मुद्दा फाँटमा कार्यरत सई नरपति भट्ट, प्रहरी जवान नरबहादुर नेपाली र नाम नखुलेका चौधरी थरका प्रहरीले यातना दिएका कारण बङ्गराको हड्डी भाँचिएको र अप्रेसन गर्नुपर्ने स्थिति रहेको भन्दै पीडितले प्रहरीको यातनाका कारण छातीमा पीडा भइरहेको बताए । साउन १ गते सङ्क्रान्तिका दिन अगैयास्थित बजारमा नाचगान भइरहेको स्थानबाट प्रहरी चौकी गाभरपुर अगैया बाँकेबाट आएका प्रहरीहरूले गिरफ्तार गरी रातभरि हतकडी लगाई गैर कानूनी थुनामा राखेर चरम यातना दिएको पीडितले दावी गरेका छन् । एक महिनामा यातनाका तीन ओटा यातनाका घटना बाहिर आएका छन् । विनोद पाण्डे
