Chitwan/ July 24 Sita Devi Gurung, 24, of Gunjanagar VDC-2 has lodged a complaint against her husband Man Bahadur Gurung, 39, at District Police Office on July 24 accusing him of Polygamy. The victim lodged a complaint saying that her husband married a second wife Lila Gurung, 26, of the same VDC-5. She said that she came to know about the incident after tipped off by the locals. Her husband was out of contact with her since two months. She further said that her husband was forcing her to give divorce by physically and mentally torturing her. She has been living with her parents since then. Tulasi Pariyar of Women Cell under District Police Office said that both of them will be detained for the further investigation.
