Joginiya VDC-9 has been beaten up by her policeman husband Raj Yadav, 30, posted at Lohajara station of Saptari. District Service Centre ordinator Bishnu Koirala said that Rekha Devi hid in the field back of her house throughout the night after being beaten up and forced out of her home by husband. Koirala added that the victim arrived at the Safe House in Rajbiraj with her 8-year-old daughter on July 25 morning. Even a year ago, when Rekha was seriously beaten and she sought outside help, Raju had apologized to her and promised to place her at home providing facilities as per his status.
