Locals Lynch One for Rape Attempt Kailali/July 29 Locals have beaten Shyam Lal Chaudhary, 26, of Ratanpur VDC-5 to death on July 29 on charge of attempting to rape a 25-year-old woman. According to DSP Rishi Ram Kandel of the District Police Office, Radheshyam Rana, 38, Birbal Rana, 18, Kisan Rana, 28, and Bilasi Rana of Dhangadhi Municipality-8 have been arrested on charge of killing Chaudhary. DSP Kandel said that initial investigation showed that Chaudhary, a rickshaw laborer, died due to the beating of the family of the woman and her neighbor. According to police, Chaudary succumbed to injuries while being taken to the Hospital. Body of the deceased is kept at Seti Zonal Hospital for post-mortem.
