A Nepal Army team has disposed an improvised explosive device discovered while digging the canal of Chaurjahari Tar Irrigation Project at Chisapani Municipality-10 in Rukum district. The IED was discovered while an excavator was digging the canal for the project. The contractor informed the police after discovering the IED. Police said the IED might have been planted during the insurgency period. Another IED was also found in the same area some four years ago. The stalled works of the irrigation project has resumed after the disposal of the IED. रुकुम(पश्चिम भाग)को चौरजहारी नगरपालिका–१० मा निर्माणाधीन चौरजहारी टार सिँचाइ आयोजनाको नहर (कुलो) खन्दा आज बाल्टिन बम फेला परेको छ । बमलाई प्रहरी चौकी सर्केनाले सुरक्षा दिइरहेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयका प्रहरी प्रमुख प्रहरी नायब उपरीक्षक राजेन्द्रप्रसाद धमलाले जानकारी दिए । बम निष्क्रिय पार्न चौरजहारीबाट नेपाली सेनाको टोली र थप प्रहरी त्यसतर्फ गएको बताइएको छ ।
