There has been a clash between the local people and Police at Bankul market, Rautahat after the police office at Bankul seized the cement being brought to Nepal in illegal way from India. After additional police force came from Rautahat, the locals started attacking the police with stones and the police fired 3 round of bullets in the air and also charged baton after which the crowd was scattered. Bijay Kushwaha resident of Baidhimai municipality was injured in the baton charge by police and undergoing treatment at nearby health post. रौतहट जिल्लाको बंकुलबजारको नजिक भारतबाट अवैध रुपमा ल्याइरहेको सिमेन्ट प्रहरी चौकी, बंकुलले जफत गर्दा स्थानीयवासी र प्रहरीबीच तनाव सिर्जना भयो। जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय, रौतहटबाट थप टोली आएपछि स्थानियवासीले प्रहरीआथि ढुंगामुढा गर्दा प्रहरीले तीन राउण्ड हवाई फायर तथा लाठी चार्ज गरेपछि तितर बितर भएको थियो। जफत गरिएको ४० बोरा सिमेन्ट आवश्यक कारबाहीका लागि गौर भन्सार कार्यालय पठाईएको इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय, कोपवा, पिपरियाका प्रहरी नायब निरीक्षक अरुण सिंहले जानकारी गराउनुभयो। लाठी चार्जमा बैधिमाई नगरपालिका विजय कुशवाह सख्त घाइते भएपछि नजिकै स्वास्थ्य चौकीमा उपचार भइरहेको स्थानीयवासी प्रदिप यादवले जानकारी गराउनुभयो।
