Police have arrested Bala Ram Bhattarai and Shre Krishna Nepal of Punarbas municipality-6 on charge of conducting caste based discrimination. Locals Dhana Bahadur BK and Tek Bahadur BK had lodged complaint at Area Police Office of Tribhuvan Basti against the accused on February 27 on charge of caste discrimination in the temple at Punarbas municipality-6 during the festival of “Mahashivaratri”. Inspector Hirendra Bahadur Rokaya said that accused duo were arrested based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s party.
