Accused Murderer of Adhikari Remanded for 10 Days

Chitwan/September 8 Police have produced UCPN-M cadre Ram Prasad Adhikari, who has been accused of killing of Krishna Prasad Adhikari of Phujel Gorkha, at the District Court on September 9. According to SP Pradhyumna Karki, the accused has been remanded in judicial custody for 10 days by the court. He said that search for the other accused was ongoing. "We will conduct a fair investigation and arrest the other accused and present them at court within 25 days," he said. Din Bandhu Baral, Shrestedar at the Chitwan District Court said that the other accused in the complaint filed by Nur Prasad, brother of Krishna Prasad are Parshuram Paudel, Chhabi Lal Paudel, Meghnath Paudel, Bishnu Tiwari, Shubhadra Tiwari, Sita Paudel, Kali Prasad Paudel, Him Lal Paudel, Bhimsen Paudel and Ram Prasad Adhikari. Krishna Prasad was shot dead by the then CPN-Maoist cadres after abduction at Bakulahar in Ratnanagar Municipality-1 in Chitwan on June 6, 2004.
