Kalikot, Chulo najik aayekoma dalitlaai kutpit. Kalikot/September 28 Rati Tamata and his brother Para of Nanikot VDC -4 have claimed caste-based discrimination against them on September 26. Rati claimed they were beaten up Gyanendra Shahi of ward no. 6 of the same VDC saying they were thrashed by Shahi accusing him of going nearly close to the cooking stove in a hotel around 10 pm. They were reportedly beaten with sticks and spatulas. However, Shahi claimed that he had shoved the brothers from the kitchen as they had come to the hotel searching for local alcohol, they had placed their hands in the plate.
