Police Rescue Four Child Labors

Morang,char baalshramikko uddhar. Morang/September 29 Police have rescued four child labors working in Jay Hanuman Veneer Ply Factory in Katahari VDC-1 on September 28. The rescued boys are Kamir Aal, 15, Wahid Hussain, 17, Mojafar Hussain, 12 of India and Ganga Rajbanshi, 13, of Sijuwa VDC-3, the District Police Office said. They were sent to CWIN Helpline Panchali, Biratnagar after the rescue, DSP Birendra Shahi said. According to Shahi, police had also held the factory owner Ishwar Pokharel of Biratnagar Sub-Metropolis-4 and contractor Abdul Kudus of Arariya Dama, India on charge of using child labor. During the police investigation, it was learnt that the boys were working for the last four years with a promise of salary of Rs 4,000 but were only paid Rs 3,200.
