Police have arrested 21 years old Prithvi Rokaya of Simkot Rural Municipality-6 and 22 years old Laxman Rawat of the same rural municipality-5 on July 27 on charge of vandalizing Mansarowar Secondary School at Simkot by pelting stones on it and beating 24 years old guard Surendra Rolaya of the school. Principal Amar Bahadur Shahi of the school said that they pelted stones at the school while students were busy on celebrating Teacher’s day in the school. School security guard Surendra Rokaya was beaten at the main gate and group of four people vandalized the schoolboy pelting stones according to the school administration. The school administration had lodged complaint at DPO on July 27 demanding for the action against those involved in vandalization. Two people were arrested however two more are still at large according to DSP Rabin Shrestha of DPO Humla. सदरमुकाम सिमकोटमा रहेको मानसरोवर माविमा बाहिरबाट ढुङ्गामुढा प्रहार गरी विद्यालय तोडफोड गरेको र विद्यालयका सुरक्षा गार्ड २४ वर्षीय सुरेन्द्र रोकायालाई कुटपिट गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले सिमकोट गाउँपालिका–६ का २१ वर्षीय पृथ्वी रोकाया र सोही गाउँपालिका–५ का २२ वर्षीय लक्ष्मण रावतलाई साउन ११ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । साउन ११ गते विद्यालयमा शिक्षक र विद्यार्थीहरूले एक आपसमा गुरू पुजा मनाउँदै गरेको अवस्थामा बाहिरबाट चार जनाको टोलीले विद्यालयमा ढुङ्गामुढा गरी तोडफोडलगायत हातपात गरेको सोही विद्यालयका प्रधानध्यापक अमरबहादुर शाहील बताए । विद्यालयका सुरक्षा गार्ड सुरेन्द्र रोकाया मुलद्वारमा चौकीदार बसिरहेको अवस्थामा बाहिरबाट आएको चार जनको टोली जबरजस्ती भित्र प्रवेश गर्न लागेको अवस्थामा गार्डले रोक्न खोज्दा कुटपिट गर्दै विद्यालयमा ढुङ्गामुढा प्रहार गरेको विद्यालय प्रशासनले जनाएको छ । विद्यालयमा ढुङ्गामुढा गर्ने टोलीलाई साउन ११ गते नै कारबाहीको माग गर्दै विद्यालय प्रशासनले जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा उजुरी दिएको छ । उजुरी लगत्तै दुई जना आरोपितलाई गिरफ्तार गरिएको र दुई जना फरार रहेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय हुम्लाका डिएसपी रविन श्रेष्ठले बताए ।
