Election Code of Conduct Violated by Main Parties

Ramechap, accaahr sanhita palana garne rajnetik dal ra sanchaarmadhyamharuko prativadhhata. Ramechhap/October 21 The major political parties have violated the election code of conduct. The political parties have pasted posters and other materials against the code of conduct of the election. The walls of the temples and governmental buildings in Manthali have been covered with the posters and pamphlets of the election candidates. The wall of District Development Committee’s building has been covered by the posters and other campaign materials by UCPN-M, NC and UML. Similarly the idol of Devkota in Devkota Chok and the walls of Laxmi Narayan Temple in Manthali has been pasted with the election posters. The concerned authority which monitors the implementation of election code of conduct is mute on such activities. Narendra Singh Karki from Darchula reports that the District Election Office said that the UML Darchula violated the code of conduct by distributing printed T-shirts. The office has conducted a monitoring after NC complained that the T-shirts printed with Youth Association were being distributed in Ghusa and Khandeswori VDC by UML. Chief Election Officer in the district Jayananda Paneru, code of conduct Durga Datta Bista, CDO Krishna Bahadur Katawal, DSP Tika Bahadur KC among others monitored the incident. N
