The general strike called by Netra Bikram Chand-led Nepal Communist Party has little affect in daily life across the country. While improvised explosives devices and suspicious objects have been found in some places, market areas and transportation are open and operating as usual. Two explosives were defused by security forces in Bhaktapur district early this morning. A suspicious object was defused at Chandrapur Municipality-5 in Rautahat district. It was found on the side of the East West Highway near a traffic post. Suspicious object was also found on the gates of Badimalika Municipality building in Bajura headquarters Martadi. The municipality building is adjacent to District Administration Office. Nepal Army bomb disposal squad has arrived to inspect the object. नेत्र विक्रम चन्द विप्लव समूहको नेपाल कम्युनिष्ट पार्टीले आज नेपाल बन्दको घोषणा गरेको छ । गत मंगलबार सरकारले आफ्ना नेता पक्राउ गरेको विरोधमा नेकपाले बन्द आह्वान गरेको हो । नेपाल कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी विप्लव समुहले आव्हान गरेको बन्द निष्प्रभावी बनाउन सुरक्षा व्यवस्था कडा बनाइएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । बन्दले काठमाडौं उपत्यकाको जनजीवन सामान्य प्रभावित भएको छ । सडकमा निजी तथा सार्वजनिक यातायातका साधन गुडिरहेका छन् । कलेज तथा स्कुलहरु भने बन्द छन् । यसैबीच, बन्दका क्रममा विभिन्न स्थानमा बमहरु फेला परेका छन् भने केही स्थानमा सार्वजनिक यातायातमा आगजनी गरिएको छ । यसक्रममा नेकपाका आधा दर्जनभन्दा बढी कार्यकर्ता पक्राउसमेत परेका छन् ।
