Kathmandu/October 27 UML Regional Committee Member Sita Luintel has been injured in an attack while participating in the election campaign organized by UML constituency no. 3. NC cadres had attacked Luintel in front of the Jubi Petrol Pumb in Jorpati on October 26. She received primary treatment at Stupa Hospital in Baudha and was later referred to Nepal Medical College (NMC) in Attarkhel. NMC later referred her to Neuro Hospital Bansbari. The victim returned home after receiving treatment. UML candidate from constituency no. 3 Rameshwor Phuyal has urged the government to take immediate actions against the assailants.
