Lalitpur/October 27 The Election Commission (EC) has decided not to allow the election observers to observe the Constituent Assembly (CA) election in the constituency from where s/he is a voter. Spokesperson of the EC, Bir Bahadur Rai said that the EC decided to prevent any person from reporting as an election observer from their respective constituencies. EC amended Clause 16 of the 'Constituent Assembly Member Election Observation Directorate 2070' towards that end. However, one could be the election observer in own constituency in case there is only constituency in the district. In such case, the observers could monitor election in other VDCs of the constituency except their own.
