Solukhumbu/October 30 Balkrishna Raj Bhandari, 47, of Dorfubazar in Salleri VDC-7 has been remanded in prison by the order of District Court Judge Deepak Kumar Kharel on October 30. Police said that Balkrishna raped a 21-year-old girl on October 13 near the jungle of Chyalsa Ghumba. The victim underwent medical check-up at District hospital of Phaplu on October 14. The victim had lodged a complaint at District police office on October 13. The accused was arrested by the police on October 15, according to the DSP Badri Bikram Thapa.
