Tara Devi Kanu, Deputy Mayor was manhandled in Bariyarpur of Mahagadhimai Municipality. Agitated students of Gadhimai Mahendra Technical Secondary School manhandled Tara Devi Kanu after she requested the student to come to dialogue. The students of class 10 of the same school did vandalism and put used fire in school on Tuesday. The students are demanding for their teacher Manij Singh Gaadhe to be brought back to school. The agitated students burnt tyre near the Gadhimai Temple, today. The Deputy Mayor was attacked by the non-students in the planned way. The group that attacked the Deputy Mayor got mixed in the crowd of the students and then attacked the Deputy Mayor. Police is further investigating the case.
