Petrol Bomb Hurled at Microbus, Eight Injured

Lalitpur/November 13 An unidentified group has hurled petrol bomb at a moving microbus (Ba 1 Ja 9891) at Samakhusi leaving eight people injured on November 13. The microbus was heading towards Balaju from Maharjgunj. Driver Ram Bahadur Thapa, Dwaj Singh Bista, Binod Bahadur Chand, Manoj Pant, Apsara Basnet, Mithu Shrestha and a minor Sanu Babu Basnet were injured in the blast. The petrol bomb was hurled by an unidentified group who had come in a motorcycle and search for them is ongoing, police said. According to the police, the injured are undergoing treatment at Grande Hospital in Dhapasi. Similarly, an unidentified group has set fire to a taxi (Ba 1 Ja 4135) in Kalopul of Kathmandu. The vehicle has been completely damaged in the arson. The assailants and motive for the arson has not been ascertained, said DSP Abhi Narayan Kafle of Gaushala Police Sector. Likewise, a bomb went off in front of the Bir Hospital. Media reports said that motorcycle-borne assailants carried out the incident. Reaction from the police has not arrived yet.
