An unidentified group of people have vandalized three schools of Humla in one night. The incident of vandalization is increasing in the district along with the decrease in temperature as the street becomes quite at night. Samata Boarding School at Simkot Rural Municipality-6, Manosarowar Secondary School and Kailash Bodhi Boarding Schools were vandalized on the night of December 7.
According to Principal Chakka Bahadur Lama of Samata School, tables and chairs of the schools were vandalized and Rs 35,000 was looted. He said “ the donation box donated by various donors were vandalized’.
Similarly tables, chairs , windows and doors of Manosarowar Secondary School was vandalized according to principal Amar bahadur Shahi.
Police said that verbal complaint is lodged at police office on December 8 against the vandalism.
