Petrol bomb hurled at passenger bus in Hetauda, dozen injured

Makwanpur, Dozen people were injured when an unidentified group hurled petrol bomb at a moving bus at Teentapke in Makwanpur Basanadi VDC-2 along the East West highway on Thursday night. The bus has been completely damaged in the incident. The bus (Na 4 Kha 8936) of Anmol Travels was heading for Narayangadh when the group hurled petrol bomb at the driver at around 9.45 last night. Security personnel were escorting the bus, it is learnt. Driver Bhola Prasad Sah, assistant driver Surendra Chaudhary and passenger Rajesh Yadav have sustained critical injuries. They have been undergoing treatment in Bharatpur. Meanwhile, other injured have been receiving treatment at Hetauda Hospital and in Birgunj. The bus overturned after some two-three men who were hiding along the roadside hurled two petrol bomb s at the driver, passenger Dipendra Thakur said. The fire brigade from Hetauda doused the fire. Meanwhile, police have been searching for the culprits.
