The Nepal Student Union (NSU) Gorkha, the student wing of major opposition Nepali Congress, burnt effigy of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at Haramtari of Gorkha on Saturday. NSU cadres took out a rally from the Nepali Congress party at Teendhare in protest of recently-endorsed National Medical Education Bill from the Parliament saying that the bill failed to address the demands raised by Dr Govinda KC who has been launching fast-unto-death for the past three weeks. The protest was also organized against the Government's failure to justice the perpetrator behind Nirmala Panta's rape and subsequent murder although six months have passed since the incident. The rally converged into an assembly where NSU cadres burned PM Oli's effigy.
