Police arrests man on assault charge

Police on Sunday evening arrested Mahendra Bohora of Mahakali municipality-2 Sharada on the charge of attacking and injuring 23-year-old Harjit Dhami during a dispute between the two at Mahendra's brother Kalu Singh's wedding. Dhami who sustained serious injury after being attacked with a wooden log by Mahendra later died on the way while he was being taken to India for treatment. Police are further investigating on the incident.
