Teachers have closed Rastriya Secondary School situated at Kantibazar, Gaushala-12, Mahottari protesting against the beating of the school Principal.
The teachers closed the school for one day demanding the proper investigation into the incident that took place on Saturday in which Devi Prasad Ghimire, Principal of the school was manhandled by Rajkishor Singh, teacher of the same school.
According to information provided by the school teacher, Mahavir Singh Kushwaha, the former principal of the school, Rajkishor Singh and the current headmaster Devi Prasad Ghimire, had an argument due to which the school was closed demanding the investigation and the punishment to the perpetrator.
Kushwaha said that the school had been closed demanding protection.
Meanwhile, committee member Mahesh Kumar Singh said that he came to know about the incident today itself and the necessary steps will be taken soon after the meeting of the school management committee.
At the moment, Former Principal Rajkishor Singh and Dev Narayan Mahato are under police control. According to the Area Police Office Gaushala, both were taken under police control immediately after the incident took place.
