Rukum, Adhar kshetra bhandai UCPN-M dwara andhadun khukuri prahar. One student of Bafikot VDC-9 has been seriously injured in the attack of UCPN-M cadres. A team led by UCPN-M leader Chandra Bahadur KC had attacked Dambar KC with Khukuri on November 17 causing him injuries in head, chest and legs, said family of the injured. The injured is undergoing treatment at Rukum District Hospital. Doctors stated that the victim needs to be treated in an advanced hospital as he received injury in both the legs. The family said that the injured was attacked by more than 12 people. District Human Rights Monitoring Coalition has expressed concern over the attack. Father of the injured, Purna Bahadur KC, was also attacked on November 15 by UCPN-M cadres while returning from the election assembly of NC.
