NOV 19 Police on Monday night arrested a person while he was trying to sneak into Nepal with weapons from Dajgaja area in Saptari district. Armed Police Force SP Abhi Kumar Khatri informed that Chola Nath Mandal of Dighuwa VDC in Saptari district was arrested with a pistol and two rounds of bullets. Another person with a gun concealed inside a sack full of spinach managed to flee towards the Indian border. The persons managed to enter the Nepali side as the movement has not been tightened despite the border being sealed in view of the election. Meanwhile, CPN-Maoist Saptari district in-charge Devnath Yadav has been detained from Prasawani VDC in the district for taking part in anti-poll activities.
