A complaint has been lodged with the police after 18-year-old daughter of Bidhu Chauhan, Mamata , was abducted. Bindhu Chauhan, a resident of Lumbini Saskritik Municipality-11, works as a correspondent at Butwal Today Daily Newspaper and Buddha Samudahik Television. She was threatened twice-once after writing news against ox smugglers and the second time after informing police of the incident in which a woman was beaten by a group of people.
Abducted Mamata cannot speak or hear. Nepal Journalist Forum, Rupandehi has condemned the incident. Police are investigating to find who and why Mamata was abducted.
