A youth was seriously injured in a sharp weapon attack by his uncle in Gorkha municipality-7. 50-year-old Buddhabir Nepali attacked his nephew Sunil Ramtel with a pick while he was under influence. Sunil, a resident of Kabhre district had come to Gorkha at his uncle's home a few days ago. The injured reported to the police that his uncle attacked him with the sharp weapon while he had gone to a relative's home. Buddhabir lodged a false complaint at police saying that the villagers beat his nephew.
Sunil was found locked at his uncle's house in a pool of blood. Locals rescued him after he shouted for help from inside the house said Inspector Him Bahadur Khatri. He sustained deep cut on his neck and head. He was sent to Kathmandu for further treatment after undergoing examination at Gorkha district hospital. Police have started investigation into the incident by arresting the accused.
