A person from Arghakhanchi district was seriously injured after being attacked with khukuri on Monday.
The injured has been identified Kailash Bhusal of Chatradev municipality-4 Kerunga in Arghakhanchi. He sustained serious injuries when Subash Bhusal of the same place attacked him with khukuri with the intention of killing him while they were travelling together on a motorcycle from Arghakhanchi to Butwal of Rupandehi.
DSP Dil Bahadur Malla of Area Police Office Butwal said "Kailash is unconscious and underwent operation at Butwal based Lumbini Provincial hospital." Kailash sustained serious injury on his neck and left hand in the attack. Inspector Ek Bahadur Nepali who is at the hospital informed that Kailash's left hand was about to be snapped.
Kailash was brought to the hospital in an ambulance by Subash who himself attempted to kill him. Police investigations revealed that Subash had tried to kill Kailash as Subash owed him rupees 8 lakhs which he did not intent to pay back. Police are further investigating on the incident.
