Kohalpur Area Police, on 8th May, have arrested two high-level leaders of the Biplov-led Nepal Communist Party from Banke. Among the arrested are politburo member Bharat Bam and people's government head of Kalikot district Satya Bahadur Sahi. They are the residents of the Kalikot district. 

Police have recovered a pressure cooker bomb and political documents from them said DSP Ramesh Bahadur Singh.  "Some important documents have been found from the laptop recovered from them. They were arrested while heading to detonate a bomb in a commercial farm in Gaganapur," he further added.
