UML Rolpa said that Budha was beaten by the group of police led by Hurmat Adhikari at around 1 am while he was sleeping at Jaljala Hotel at Dubrin Bazar. The injured sustained eye, face and back injuries. He sustained bruises all over his body. The victim received treatment at Holeri Primary Centre. The police beat him up with pipe and batons, according to the victim. The accused has been taken into control for further investigation, said CDO Mahadev Pantha.
