Journalist threatened with death over report

28-year-old Bikash Bista, son of the chairperson of Naraharinath rural municipality has been accused of issuing death threat to journalist Ramesh Rawal, a resident of Naraharinath rural municipality-9 over a news reported by Rawal.
According to journalist Rawal, Bista threatened him over the phone on May 20 to kill him over a piece of news about the misuse of rural municipality vehicle, he contributed in Thaha khabar online news portal. Bista called from a mobile number 9843654217.
Rawal filed an application at District Administration Office Kalikot demanding security. CDO of Kalikot Chandra Bahadur Karki said proper investigation would be carried into the incident.
