Police on May 23 arrested two persons on the charge of beating 38-year-old Jaya Bahadur Dhami, a teacher at Sarkegad rural municipality-2 based Himjyoti Secondary School.
The arrested habe been identified as 27-year-old Gothi Dirgha Singh and 28-year-old Bharat Malla of Sarkegad rural municipality-5.
Dhami had lodged a complaint at police stating that the arrested duo beat him on May 23 at the premises of the school while he was preparing to go to class. According to him, they were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
Dhami sustained a minor injury on his head and is undergoing treatment at local primary health center, informed principal of the school Dev Bikram Shahi.
