Two persons were hurt after they were attacked with a sharp weapon in Bhojpur on Friday night.
Manikala Shakya,28 and Badrika Rai,17 were attacked in Chyangre of Pauwadumma rural municipality, Bhojpur. According to Bhojpur police, Kumar Shrestha ,40 had attacked Shakya and Rai with the sharp weapon in their houses. Police have arrested Shrestha and kept him in custody in Area Police Office, Tiwaribhanjyang.
It is learnt that the arrested Shresth is mentally disturbed. Rai has received bruises on her cheek and fingers and is being treated at a local health facility. Shakya has received cuts on her head and fingers. Shakya has been sent to Dharan after primary treatment at the local health facility,said Inspector Pandaw Kumar Rajbanshi.
