Advocate Chetnath Dumre was beaten at the District Court of Nawalparasi (East) on Monday. Ganesh Adhikari, vice chairman of the District Court Bar, said that 58-year-old Durga Dhungana, a leader of the Nepal Communist Party, manhandled Dumre while going to the court for a hearing. Dumre was the former chairman of the Nawalparasi District Court Bar. According to Adhikari, they have demanded for action against Dhungana. (PR)
