Police arrested Iman Singh Kathayat, 45, of Tripurkot, Tripurasundari municipality-1 on June 6 on the charge of caste discrimination. On the basis of complaint lodged by the victim Dhanmal Sarki, Tripurakot Police Station took him into custody.

According to victim, on June 6, Kathayat came to his house to call him to work in Kathayat's field. When Sarki said that he would not be able to go with Kathayat has he had his own work, Kathayat scolded him by calling him "Dum".

Senior Inspector Tek Bahadur Deuwa of Tripurakot Police Station said, the accused was arrested and further investigation is going on.The accused, however, said that the allegation is not true.
