Rajkumar Sarki of Kageshwori Manhara-7, Dhanchi has attacked Sunil Nagarkoti with a Khukuri for allegedly discriminating as a 'lower caste'. According to Sahakul Bahadur Thapa, SSP of Metropolitan Criminal Investigation Bureau, the incident happened on Saturday evening. It was informed that Nagarkoti was attacked by Rajkumar after he tried to argue with Rajkumar for touching the tap water.
Injured Nagarkoti's treatment is going on in Nepal Medical College, Jorpati.
Sarki has confessed his crime with the Police, saying that out of anger he had attacked Nagarkoti.
For further investigation, Bureau has handed Sarki to Police Circle, Boudha.
