The victim’s party of 46 years old Dul Maya B.K of Marshyangdi Rural Municipality-9 has lodged complaint at judicial committee of the Rural Municipality against 50 years old health volunteer Ram Maya Subedi for caste-based discrimination.

The victim said that she was publicly humiliated by the accused in a program with the intention of caste-based discrimination. A complaint was lodged against the accused at judicial committee according to the coordinator Hom Bahadur B.K of the committee.

The victim said that she was discriminated by the accused in many occasions in a public place. Coordinator B.K of the committee said that the complaint will be forwarded to the District Police Office as it out of their jurisdiction.
