Complaint filed against caste discrimination
2019-07-01
39-year-old Monika BK of Gorkha Municipality-4 filed a complaint on July 1 against 53-year-old Pampha Shrestha of Gorkha-5 stating that Shrestha discriminated her based on her caste.
According to witness Dipak Suanr, Shrestha assaulted BK on July 1 for touching the tap water. Sunar added that BK sustained injury in her neck because Shrestha pulled her hair and beat her. The injured is receiving treatment at Gorkha Hospital.
