Police arrested 25-year-old Chandrakala Thapa of Chapakot Municipality-2 and 33-year-old Som Maya Gurung, a permanent resident of Bandipur Municipality-6, currently living in Pokhara Metropolitan-16, on the charge of intimidating a 38-year-old woman in accusation of practicing witchcraft.
The police arrested the duo on July 3 based on a complaint filed by the victim stating that the women intimidated her accusing her of practicing witchcraft on July 2.
According to DSP Navin Krishna Bhandari of District Police Office, Syangja, the police have arrested the accused and initiated investigation.
