45-year-old Laxman Kumal, a resident of Musikot Municipality-3, attacked 49-year-old Moti Bahadur Kumal with a sharp weapon on July 31. Moti Bahadur Kumal died in the cleaver attack as a result of a dispute about irrigation canal. 

After killing the neighbour, Laxman Kumal surrendered to the police. According to District Police Chief SP Dipak Kumar Basnet, further investigation is underway and the perpetrator along with the dead body is being brought to District Police Office.
