The locals set the excavator on fire after two youths went missing in the Daringal river in Gajuri Rural Municipality-6. 22-year-old Suman Syangtyang and 21-year-old Bhim Ghalang had gone to the river to take a bath. 

The locals vandalized two excavators citing the excavation of sand and concrete as the reason for such an incident. The depth of the river increases when sand is excavated without regulation.  Police have been deployed in a large number to control a large number of agitated locals.
