Woman arrested for assaulting mother-in-law

Police arrested 23-year-old Sarita Sarki of Panchkhal Municipality-9 on the charge of assaulting 48-year-old mother-in-law Dhaumati Sarki with an axe. Sarita hit Dhanumati with a sharp weapon amidst the general dispute. Dhanumati is undergoing treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital. Police are further investigating the incident.
