The relatives of 20-year-old Sita Damai and her 50-year-old mother Bhim Kala Damai of Kummayak Rural Municipality-1 filed a complaint at District Police Office on August 16 against 33-year-old Jeevan Darnal of Damak Municipality-2. Jeevan, Sita's husband, assaulted Sita and Bhim Kala in Bhim Kala's house during a domestic dispute. Sita has sustained an injury on the left hand while Bhimkala has sustained injuries in the left hand and cheeks.
They received medical treatment at the District Hospital on August 16 and have been referred to BP Koirala Health Science Institute for further treatment.
